Live ArtiFacts for YOU!

The New Live ArtiFacts Blog Page is for visual artists, spoken word poets and creative literary writers to share their art journey in their own words straight from their own minds.

Each featured artists also has the opportunity to post their website information and details about their new artworks in progress or upcoming performance shows.

As a visual artists I strongly believe that every person has their own creative journey and art process.

We are not supposed to have the same creative art journey because we are all different people from different backgrounds with a different vision for the type of art we make or perform. That is what makes the Fine Arts of Life so important to our society, because it presents a new perspective on how we view ourselves and the world around us.

There have been many attempts to control the mind of individuals into pre-programmed stereotypes of the fictional characters "actors" that are seen on television or in books. But that IS NOT who were created to be.

We as a people were born to be and do more than what racism and sexism has tried to limit people from doing to be are best selves. God has a original purpose and plan for our lives that goes far beyond what the human eye can see or understand.

We are the living artifacts of today, we are the very important people and we have creative talents in every academic, social and entertainment structure.

If you are a visual artists, spoken word poet or creative literary writer this page is for you to lift up your voice and bring your creative vision to life because we are the change the world wants to see and hear.

We are the ones we have been waiting for...the time is now, the hope is here and IN FAITH WE CAN DO THE IMPOSSIBLE!

FEBRUARY~LIVE ARTIFACTS!

LIVE ARTIFACTS...JUST FOR YOU!!!

FEATURED ARTIST:   LAVONTELL M. FORD

Who: I am Lavontell M. Ford

When: In 2010 my album became published, this day symbolizes the completion of my album called (Livin' under da' needle).

What: is a folktale storyteller of truth seeking (i am not a rapper).

Where: Seattle, Washington 1 generation my family originates from the south Louisiana, New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Lake Charles.

Why: Because I absolutely had to create an album I was born in 80s. So this made me an 80's baby and you know with hip-hop originating around the era it was absolutely amazing to watch it kick off and get become so big as it was originating from the poor rural inner city areas of that era.
Even though I never got under a contract I had a deeper focus on honing my writing skill and using them for an outlet to express my feeling because I had a temper and struggled with the battle of anger in my youth. Eventually at a later time I wanted to create an album that I could call my own and be able to take some pride in using my creative skills that I acquired by practicing the trade and influencing others in my neighborhood to express themselves too, so I did just that and my presence in the neighborhood was able to help other people express themselves and deal with their tempers too by learning they had  developed a talent that could be appreciated by others and everybody around in recreational settings.
